ETA Australia - Online Travel Authorisation Application

Visa eVisitor Australia subclass 651

The subclass 651 visa is the first visa introduced by the Australian government. It is valid forone year from its launch date and allows travellers to stay in Australia for up to 3 months.

How can I get a tourist visa for Australia without going to the embassy?

The eVisitor visa is issued to travellers for tourism, visiting friends or business trips to Australia. However, you cannot work in the country during your stay in Australia. Available to European nationals, you can apply for this visa online so that it costs less than the ETA visa.

What type of visa is required to enter Australia and for which nationality?

Not all nationals of other countries are eligible to apply for eVisitor visa. There is a category of e-visa for a stay in Australia that is reserved for certain nationalities. If you are a national of Belgium, France, the European Union or Switzerland, you will be entitled to one. All you need to do is take your passport with you when you apply online and wait for eVisitor authorisation.

Visa ETA subclass 601 (Electronic Travel Authorisation ETA)

The ETA visa subclass 601 or Electronic Travel Authority Australia or theelectronic authorization is valid for the same period as the eVisitor visa and works in the same way. The difference is that the ETA can be used by almost all nationals of every nationality. It is much shorter in duration. Because of this, the ETA subclass 601 is the most widely used Australian visa in the world, and because of these advantages, its price is higher.

How do I complete the online application form for permission to go to Australia?

The first step is to fill in the form on the official online visa services website : 

• Document preparation: all supporting paperwork including your passport must have a validation of at least At least 6 months before arriving in Australia.
• Filling in the application form: this form must be filled in carefully and outside Australia. Fill in your full name, date of birth, e-mail address, passport issue date, passport expiry date and answer the question: have you ever been to Australia? If so, write down the number of your previous visa or your eVisitor or ETA electronic authorisation.
• Visa authorisation: you will receive your ETA visa by e-mail within a few days.
